We are so happy to share that our amazing colleague Prof.dr.sc Gordana Flander, Director of the Child and Youth Center in Zagreb, has been awarded the Children’s Rights Promotion Lifetime Achievement Award in Croatia.

“For me, this award is a stimulus and a sign that my country stands behind what I do and will continue to stand behind it.”

Gordana, one of our key resources in the PROMISE Project and the European Barnahus Movement has through her vision, expertise and generous contributions played a key role in placing child protection and multidisciplinary interventions for child victims of violence on the map, not only in Croatia, but across Europe.

We are positive that we speak on behalf of professionals from across the globe when we say that Gordana and her work has inspired and gained support far beyond Croatia’s borders. Congratulations!
